I read ths article on the yahoo, and since I am currently taking law classes I felt that it would be appropriate to comment on. (latimes.com/news/local/la-me-billboard28-2010feb28,0,7528587.story?track

This is a rare occasion where the city attorney files charges against an individual. Also, it is clearly seen that this is being held as a politically motivated case, since, for a misdemeanor, the bail was set at 1 million dollars. For a sign violation, keep in mind, that this is cruel and unusual punishment for a misdemeanor. Now, granted bail is set based on the financial situation to one, but still, 1 million dollars for a misde? Just doens't make sense.
Is the City of LA ,trying to make an example of someone? Clearly.

Law School...?
Recently I have came to the determination that I should go ahead and take my education to the fullest extent of my capabilities. I have the support of my long time girlfriend, which is great. With the economy being the way it is, and myself not have a degree as of yet, really affords me the time to go ahead and strive for the most that I can. My industries are almost bankrupt, staffing and mortgage, so I might as well. Ideally I would like to get a job as a law enforement officer in some sort of capacity, but since I keep hearing how every municpality is broke, I feel that I should keep striving forward.
I know how most people feel about individuals with a law degree, but i say it today, I will not do criminal law. I don't have the capacity to defend people that are most of the time guilty, and looking for a way out. Granted there are those that are innocent, but I don't see the ratio being that being high to where I could justify doing it taking the chance of always defending the innocent in that capacity.
And then again on the other side, I would not want to prosecute those that are innocent. So, I think that at this point in time, I will still try law enforcement in whatever capacity that i can. Why, because it has always been a dream.

OOOOOOOHHHHHH Politics!!!
This morning I was watching a little bit of news on Fox, and I saw this headline, 'Healthcare Bill to create 4 million jobs,' per the administration of course. It boggles my mind how they come up with these numbers. Ok, the current healthcare bill doesn't take effect until 2014, but the taxation in the bill starts immediately. Don't get me wrong, we do need healthcare reform, but not this bill, and not this style of legislation. So, I ponder, how in the he!! are 4 million jobs coming from this bill? I just don't get it. Are the jobs going to be split 50/50 between unicorns and leprechauns? Really though, never in my life have I experienced so much wishful thinking. Do these people actually think that we Americans are buying this B.S.?

Global Warming, I mean Climate Change, I mean that thing that us neanderthals don't believe in...
Well, it has recently caught my eye that the east coast has been hammered with record setting snowfall. And yes, it just barely snowed in Vancouver. I want to make this really quick about this topic.
When will people start realizing that mother nature is unpredictable and that weather has patterns and cycles. Its natural. We did come out of an ice age.And before that it was extremely hot. The Earth doesn't work off our calendar years, or report to specific weather monitoring stations. People, mainly those that follow, The Church of the Almighty and Undisputable Temperature Gage, need to sit back and realize that there whole global warming craze has been debunked. It should have never came down to this, but it has. The Earth cools, and then it warms, and then it cools, and then warms, and so on, and so on.
The alarmists remind of that friend who sits at the bar after their favorite team just lost the big game. And just drinks and drinks until he is carried out. He is most likely the same friend that drinks and drinks when his favorite team wins the big game, too. And eventually has to be carried out. Regardless of the outcome, he is going to drink until he is carried out. Same thing with these alarmists. They are going to protest and try to change life as we know it no matter what.
We exhale carbon dioxide from our lungs. Plants strive off of it. If they are so concerned, just plant more plants. Problem solved. Everybody go home, catastrophe avoided. Place your picket signs in the blue recycle bin on the way out.

Made in America?
I was in the store the other day and I just happened to notice where items were made from.
China was the most numerous, Pakistan, Taiwan, and Mexico were the only places that I found on tags. I couldn't find anything made in America. I am not complaining or even considering isolationism for our nation, but how has it come down to this. It brought me to think about, what do we export to other countries?
The cost that are incorporated into what we make is outrageous for another country to buy from us, right? I know that we even import drywall from China. I am no economics major or even close to a guru about the subject, but people all around the world buy stuff because of its price, where it is made at does not matter at that point anymore.
Lately we have been great at exporting our national debt and other countries having been investing

Where to begin...
With it being the New Year and a whole new round of Bull Crap that has hit the fan, I don't know where to start. What I mean is really this, I just don't know where to start. Do I start on the local level of bull crap? Or. do I join everyone else and talk about the national pile crap that has hit us recently? Well, here is what I am going to do, I will be jotting down topics that I will discuss. It just seems that everyday there is more and more crap to talk about, that I can't seem to keep up with. So here goes.
