I was turned onto this report by a local AM radio host, Brian Suits, who is heard locally on AM 640. Words can not describe how this news made me feel. Yes, 47,000 EMPLOYERS. 47,000 places that employ Californians are gone. Left the state to go elsewhere and will not be coming back. The first thing that crossed my mind was, Why? Who would leave the beautiful state that has year round sunshine and is within 3 hours of the ocean from anywhere in the state? Here is what I think.
They all left the state because of our idiotic high taxes and ridiculous regulation that our state legislation has imposed on our state. There is a consequence to what happens to unwarranted government regulation, and in 2008 us Californians took a huge bite out of reality when we lost 47,000 employers. Its funny how California's leadership and most civic leaders taunt how far ahead California is in Green jobs, and Green this, and Green that, and fighting the global warming, and if you don't believe in global warming you are living in the stone age. Well I have news for them. Look at what your unverified global warming regulation is doing to our state. Its tearing us down from the inside out. If there is not jobs in our state, that means that there is that much less tax revenue from business and the individual, which means less money going to Sacramento
In the private sector, results are expected from employees. In the government sector, it appears that the only expectation is to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time. Taxing the crap out businesses and the high income earners of this state, it was only a matter of time. People have money because they know how to make money. Staying in a state that is going to take as much of it away as humanly possible, is not a good investment. Also, people start businesses for one purpose, to generate money. Now, if our state government feels that they can just take as much and impose this, and tax that and that people were going to be ok with it. Well here is some simple math. 1% of something is more than 100% of nothing. At this rate we will have a empty state soon and the legislators to blame.
It all starts at the top and rolls down hill. If Schwarzenegger had a pair left after his steroid use he would have addressed this issue of retaining businesses in California along time. Instead, they think that they will make up the lost revenue on the existing businesses that are left here. Also, the decision making of Arnold, is impaired because he has his head so far up this global warming ass that his eye brows are burning. I am willing to be now that once he leaves office in 2010, he has some PR type position waiting for him to go around and be the Paul Revere of Global Warming. The climate is changing! The climate is changing! The climate is Changing!

Camo Clothing
You this is one of the many things I love about hunting. Resembling mother nature. Its great. It is the one time that I feel like I am part of the actual nature scene that I am in. Now, to my understanding, only turkeys are not color blind. So basically when hunting other game, what you are doing is trying to blend in with the surroundings by breaking up your silohuette. I have even gone as far as making my own leafy hat, for the duck blind.
The Future Image of Tiger
I really have mixed feelings about this one, only because I did grow up wanting to hit the ball like he does, and then I also grew up with certain close members in my family being womanizers. Its a tough pill for Tiger to swallow, but it is digestible.
In our day and age, adultery is common. If this was back in the 50's, a different story. But, were not in those days anymore and society does seem to be more forgiving towards misbehavior. I am totally against Tiger going into hiding until things blow over. The way we as a people are going to see that is one of two ways. He is hiding more, or he isn't man enough to step up to the plate and admit he was wrong for what he did.

Flatulence contributing to cabon emissions
I knew it was going to slowly come down to this. Trying to establish cut backs on C02 released from the body. It looks like they are going to start off with cows, and eventually work their way over to humans. Read this article that I did and you will understand. (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/12/15/counting-cows-reduce-carbon-emissions/)
President Gives himself a B+...
I was going to leave this one alone, but since some networks keep spinning this, I just have to let it out. A, B+. How? Why? Who? When? Where?
This whole Obamamania is out of control. It was great to celebrate from Nov. 4 to Jan 19, but as of Jan. 20 it was a time to drop campaign mode and get into gear to fix this country. Yet, since Jan 20 our unemployment has continued to skyrocket, our national continue is growing out of control, and the course of action this administration is taking makes no sense. There are really to many to mention right now of actions that just don't make any sense.

Attention Fellow Quack Attackers
Dear Duck Fellow Duck Hunters,
The weather storm that came through California this past week was an awesome sight from above. Not only because it gave our state some much needed water, it also did great injustice for the duck and geese migrations, forcing them to come south. It made the north even colder, and you know the ducks and geese, the closer to 72 degrees the better. For all local So-Cal quack attackers, this means that this weekend should be a great time for you to stay and watch duck hunting on TV. Yes, stay home. Enjoy the time with your family. The holidays are coming up and its time to just relax. Knock off some those honey-do's on the list.

Crunch Time for the Senate,,the House and White House
From what it appears to be now, it looks like there will not be enough votes to pass the health care legislation. Which is good, because if Health Care Reform is going to be passed in this country, they sure need to start over and do it right. The current bill makes no sense. For example, they are going to start taxing us six ways from Sunday for the health care plan, but it won't actually take effect until 2013. Huh? Yes look it up if you don't believe me.
Next, they are going to be gutting 500 billion dollars out of medicare over the next 10 years, but they are lowering the age to qualify for medicare down to 55 years old. What? Yes, they current Senate bill plans to take away money from a problem that is on the verge of collapse and add more people to it. No way! Yes way.

The new Mayor of Houston
I wanted to talk about this before I hit the sack for the night. I saw this header on yahoo.com, "Gay mayor-elect: Victory shows Houston's diversity."
It's stuff like that, which is what inspired me to blog. Why do people always have to categorize individuals into a group. We are Americans, no crap we are a diverse population. It is going on 2010 and we know. We are all different as Americans. It seems like as the older the nation gets, the farther from a melting pot we are becoming. Why? Well because it seems that the media along with other entities just can't withhold from fully categorizing someone. The heading could have easily have read,"New Mayor elected for Houston." Too simple I guess.

Important to be on the same page
I had to talk about this. While watching the news snip-its today this story jumped out at me. It is about the Obama's Administrations economic advisors. Kind of makes one wonder what is really going on with this administration.
Today, on ABC's This Week, Lawrence Summers, director of the White House National Economic Council, proudly said that the recession is over and that jobs will begin to show by this spring. Great news right, I was excited when I heard this, since I am a involuntary participant in this recession.

The Photo Op Duo
As I was driving back home today I heard on the radio again that California Governor, Arnald Schwarzenegger, and Los Angeles City Mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, are off the Coopenhagen Summit with the world leaders for the climate summit. I call them the photo op duo because they both can be seen at any opportunity where the chance to have their picture for whatever cause or event may be happening.
Yes, California has taken the most steps to cut down carbon emissions in the United States. Also to mention, businesses have been leaving California in droves, and unemployment is one of the highest in the nation. Coincidence? Not to leave out that California can't balance the budget due to income shortfalls.
Los Angeles is currently suffering the highest deficit in history, close to a billion dollars, and also has businesses kicking rocks out of the city.
